Jazzkaar 2004, 17-25 April

The 2004 edition of the very popular in the country annual spring jazz festival, featuring Earth, Wind and Fire Experience with Al McKay Allstars (USA), John Scofield (USA), Joyce (Brazil), Manu Dibango (Cameroon/France), Estonian Dream Big Band with Randy Becker (USA) Sidsel Endresen (Norway), Supersilent (Norway), Estonian State Symphony Orchestra with Mark Stockhausen Trio (Estonia / Germany / Norway / France), DuOuD (Tunisia / Algeria), New Jungle Orchestra (Denmark), Marc Ducret Trio (France), Alex Wilson R and B Latino (Cuba / UK) and many other artists and groups.

25th Estonian Music Days, 14-21 April

The 25th edition of a festival arranged yearly by the Estonian Composers Union, many premieres of new pieces. Performers include: Estonian Philarmonic Chamber Choir (artistic director Paul Hillier), Estonian State Symphony Orchestra, Vox Clamantis, NYYD Ensemble (conductor Olari Elts), Jean-Philipp Guilla (France), Crash Ensemble (Ireland), Silesian String Quartet (Poland).
