MPC/AMAST accommodation will be at Saaremaa Spa Hotels Meri and Rüütli, which are new spa hotels in Kuressaare, located by the seashore, right next to each other, the episcopal castle and park, the beach and the yachting center. See this map
Saaremaa Spa Hotel Meri is also where the scientific sessions of the conferences will take place.
The hotels offer accommodation in single, double and twin rooms. The rooms are equipped with WC/shower, TV/radio, telephone. All rooms are anti-allergic, many have WiFi access.
The room rates include breakfast, 2 free spa treatments per day and free use of the swimming pool, gym and sauna.
The conference rate for a single room is 760 EEK (~48 EUR) per night. The rate for a double or twin room is 460 EEK (~30 EUR) per person and night. (These are the amounts payable by every participant directly to the hotel for the accommodation. Other services by the hotel form the day fee component of the registration fee to be paid in advance to the local organization.)
The spa treatments included in the conference rate are: herb pearl baths, whirlpool bath for feet, Charcot shower, underwater manual shower massage, manual massage, paraffin-ozocerit therapy, paraffin gloves, music therapy, grossing, relaxation chamber, salt chamber, SAD light therapy, ECG, therapeutic gymnastics in pool, in hall (in groups), health walking, morning gymnastics. It is recommendable to book the treatments in advance: meri.ravi(at)sanatoorium.ee.
Booking of accommodation in the conference hotels is handled by the local organizers as part of registration (you must specify your wishes on the registration form), but payment for accommodation is directly to the hotel on the spot.
If you are on the participant list and we did not tell you otherwise, then your Kuressaare accommodation booking request was accepted by Saaremaa Spa Hotels (check the registration acknowledgement email about your requested check-in, check-out dates). You should check in at Hotel Meri.
Added 29 June: For reasons outside our control, Saaremaa Spa Hotel Meri relocated a number of our participants. If you have not received an email notification from us, you were not affected. We tried to negotiate the best emergency solution but it is not ideal for some of you. We are embarrassed and sorry and hope you can understand us. See you soon.
In case you will also need accommodation in Tallinn, you are expected to arrange this on your own. It is highly advisable that you do this early, hotel rooms are hard to find in Tallinn in July.
Here are some recommendations of ours:
