is Senior Member of the Technical Staff at Knowledge Systems Corporation, Editor-in-Chief of the SIGS Reference Library, and the developer of the Firesmith Method, a fourth-generation object-oriented systems development method for large, complex applications. Firesmith is the author of Object-Oriented Requirements Analysis and Logical Design: A Software Engineering Approach, a regular columnist for Report on Object Analysis and Design (ROAD), a frequent contributor for Journal of Object-Oriented Programming (JOOP) and a regular speaker at object technology conferences around the world.

Edward M. EYKHOLT,1962- ,
is a sales engineer with Rational Software Corp. where he provides presales technical support for the Rational Rose product line of object-oriented software engineering tools. Prior to that, he was a business systems consultant with AT&T Global Information Solutions.
