APPLICATION AND COST
To apply for a place, fill in the online participation application form.
If you need a visa to visit Estonia, please notify us of this.
The deadline for application and submission of student talk abstracts (see the instruction) is 16 February 2019. But please apply as soon as possible, as we will process applications as they arrive, on a first-come first-serve basis, aiming to notify within three working days from application. The number of participants we can admit is limited by the capacity of the premises.
Admitted participants will be expected to attend all of the school's program. They will be provided access to materials of the courses. Participation includes 5 nights accommodation in twin rooms with full board.
Participation is without a fee for PhD and master students of TalTech and UT, as well as supervisors and consultants of PhD students at TalTech and UT, and (possibly) keen bachelor students. Notice however that it is not free - it is paid by someone. Your costs will be covered by the doctoral school project, which is governed by very strict regulations and administrative procedures. This means that your name will appear in many documents and that every single expense you incur will be associated to your person. Consequently, your late cancellation or no-show will mean a major administrative hassle for good people that should be doing more useful things. Also it may mean that we rejected someone else without a reason.
Other participants from Estonia and participants from abroad may have to pay for their costs. We expect these to come down to approx 300 EUR. If you are interested in attending, we very much encourage you to apply, we will contact you about the cost.
