Taagepera Castle, August 10-14, 2003.

VENUE

The venue is the newly renovated Taagepera Castle in Southern Estonia close to Latvian border. Taagepera is the southernmost manor in Estonia. The manor is named after the von Stackelbergs who dwelled there from 1674 to 1796. The current main building was built during 1907-1912 and is an example of Jugend style. Nowadays the manor houses a hotel, restaurant and conference center.

Tallinn, Estonia's capital, is famous for its pictoresque medieval Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. There are direct flights to Tallinn from London, Frankfurt, Paris, Hamburg, Vienna, Moscow, Warsaw, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Prague ferries from Stockholm and Helsinki. From Vilnius, Riga, the Eurolines coach service is the practical travel option. Please check the web page for further travel instrucions.

Travel from Tallinn to Taagepera and back

The bus to Taagepera will leave at 17.00 on August 10 to Taagepera. The journey will take about 3 h. The return bus from Taagepera to Tallinn will leave at 14.30 on August 14 from Taagepera and will reach its destination around 17.30.
